Help Me Be A Delegate!

Fellow Berners! My name is Christine, and I am going to be a delegate for Onondaga County, NY for Bernie Sanders! I am excited to go to the convention, but dismayed at the cost. Unfortunately it seems you have to be wealthy and have some expendable income to participate in our political process. The flight should be around $1,000 (flights are drastically more expensive around time of the convention), and 3 nights in a hotel(typically $600 a night). As you can see, that ads up fast! In January I quit my job in New York to travel the country and campaign in different states. I am now in California, working on a start up organization called America's Youth, in aims to get young people involved in politics. It is stationed in San Diego, where we are opening a Political Revolution Office this week! We also are running a youth run news outlet, where we try to report on actual investigative journalism, YoungProgressiveVoices.com. We endorsed Bernie, and a chunk of our efforts involve young people to organize to get him a win for California. Right now everything I am doing in volunteer. I am looking for a part time job to help with the cost of  being a delegate, but am concerned I still could fall short of what I need for convenion. If you could all pitch in and donate what you can, I promise to do my civil duty to represent Onondaga County, Bernie, and vote to reshape the Democratic party to Bernicratic values!
