I am a cancer survivor, although I do have a new growth on my chin. I had mouth cancer, under my tongue. My surgery required my left tibula to be used to reconstruck my mouth. After radiation treatment, I knew I was not returning to work. I needed new dentures, and surgery was scheduled. First i went thru 20 HBO treatments. This was to strenthen my bones in my mouth, prior to implant surgery. I had the successful implant surgery, followed by 10 more HBO treatments. Then I found out my insurance that paid for the treatments, and the surgery, did not pay for my dentures. So I still live off Jevity 1.5 thru my gtube. A tube in my stonach, and canned liquid. It has been this way for 3 1/2 years. I need help to get dentures, so I can eat food again. Im living off disability, and medicare does not pay for dentures. Thank you for any help.
