Dear Friends and Family,
My name is Larry Macaluso. I am in need of your help. For those that may not know, I was diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (C.O.P.D.) in 2008. C.O.P.D. is a disease that blocks the airflow and makes it difficult to breathe. It causes a chronic cough and could become deadly with the blockages. In February of 2010, my disease caused me to quit working full time with a construction company. Since working in the construction field, I have been cooking for different fundraisers, festivals, companies, and religious functions.
As of now, there is no known cure for C.O.P.D. and it is a very progressive disease. My Pulmonologist has me on medications designed only for the maintenance of the disease. The medications have been relatively ineffective up to this point causing me to lose hope in conventional medicines.
I am not the type of man to just sit around and let my disease take over me, so I made the decision to research some effective options I may have to overcome my disease. I came across The Lung Institute. The Lord has shown me that there is hope through them with stem cell therapy.
The stem cell therapy is a very costly procedure that Medicare and insurances will not cover. This is the reason behind asking for your help.
It truly bothers me to have to ask for help in any way. However, I have had to put my pride aside and The Lord has humbled me. He has shown me that I cannot do this on my own. Therefore, any help that you may be able to give will be greatly appreciated.
