Hello everyone,
I am fundraising on behalf of my friend and coworker Robert Downs. He is the head custodian of Sachem public library for 15 years. In September he started suffering from crippling back pain and was forced to leave work to try to recover and get a medical diagnosis.

He was diagnosed with angiosarcoma of his lung. He has started chemotherapy in January and his treatment is ongoing.

Robert lives with his wife Kim and his two children Madison and Dylan. 

Robert has been out of work since October and has exhausted all of his accumulated time off and the Covid-19 restrictions have put a strain on financial and medical availability.
Anybody who has themselves or has a loved one with cancer knows the battle Rob and his family are fighting. Please find it in your hearts to help this hard working family man leap this hurdle and land back on his feet.
