Marv's Medical Bill Fund

The money raised will go to my dad's medical bills as well as his long term stay at the VA hospital in Sturgis, SD as well as Minneapolis, MN. My dad's health started declining in October 2020 when he had his first fall. He has since had several ambulance rides: 2 to the Mobridge ER and 1 to Bismarck, ND. These were out of network with the VA so they are only partially covered. We then were able to get him from Bismarck to the Black Hills in time for my wedding at the end of December 2020. Unfortunately I had to take him to the emergency room the day after my wedding and he has been in the VA system since. I recently received a letter explaining that his copay for his stay at the hospital would be about $3,000 per month. I'm getting a little overwhelmed by the amount of bills and it's undetermined how long he will have to be in the hospital for. He is getting all of his teeth removed which has been the source of his infections. He is no longer a candidate for the aortic tabber due to the infection so there is talk that he may have to have open-heart surgery. I am his Power of Attorney so I have been taking care of his other monthly bills as well. It has been an emotionally draining experience and I'm trying to do all the proactive things that I can. Thank you to everyone for their support.
