Baby Savannah & Family

baby Savannah 9.14.2016

On September 8, 2016 Anne Goessling was admitted into the hospital with severely high blood pressure and symptoms that led doctors to believe she had pre-eclampsia. This mixed with her type 1 diabetes was not a good combination for baby Savannah, nor for Anne. Doctors thought it would be best for Anne to remain in the hospital for SIX WEEKS as baby Savannah continued to grow until at least 34 weeks. Anne stayed optimistic and wanted whatever was going to be best for herself and the baby.

Less than 24 hours later things made a quick turn for the worst. Anne's blood pressure spiked to an all time high and it was detrimental that Savannah be delivered via emergency cesarean section at only 28 weeks old.

Anne, Frank, and close family and friends prayed hard for the well-being of Anne and baby Savannah. Fortunately, the continuous prayers worked! Baby Savannah was born on September 9th at 2:34pm weighing 2lbs. 10oz.

Savannah is as cute as can be! Both mom and baby are doing relatively well, but there is definitely a long road ahead for Anne, Frank, and Savannah. With this being said, it is so important that family and friends rally for them! The next few months will be full of unexpected medical bills and more than expected time off work. Please consider donating to this more than deserving family.
