Thom and Pat Wilson (both age 65 years old) are helping their disabled daughter Hannah Montgomery raise her three sons, Gabriel, Michael, and Riley in their home , after the death of the boys's father. Pat, Hannah, and Gabriel are on Social Security. Last week the one and only family car stopped driving, the transmission went out and needs to be repaired. The estimated repairs will be close to $4000, we have closed out our savings account to help pay for the transmission but we are still short of funds. Thom has been hitching rides with friends to his job, however his job requires him to have a working car to see the veterans he counsels in their homes and his job is under threat if he does not get his car up and running. Our disabled daughter Hannah and disabled grandson Gabriel also need the transportation to get to medical appointments and support groups. Thom has only part of the money needed to fix the car. If you can help us, the money will be used to get a rebuilt transmission and have it installed. With a working car, Thom will be able to continue to work to support his family and assure that his disabled daughter and disabled grandson get to their medical appointments. We need the funds as soon as possible so Thom does not lose his job and the members of the family can get driven to their medical appointments. We families will be so thankful for any help you can provide.
