UPDATE ON DAD SINCE STARTING THIS FOR MAM

Dad had been fighting for his life in a coma for just over 2 weeks, however he couldn’t fight any longer and toke his last breath at 14.10pm on the 10th March with his brother and some of his daughters around him! He’s now gone to be with his beloved wife in heaven! As you can imagine this is heartbreaking we’ve all lost not one but two of our parents! We’ve not even had mams funeral yet  again I’ve had people asking if they can help so I thought rather than starting a new fundraiser I’d just update this one! Thank you all so much for your support over the last few weeks! It’s the only thing keeping us going at the moment

Where do I start?
So a lot of you will already know but both our mam and dad toke seriously poorly on the 14th February with covid, they were both admitted to hospital where things drastically changed! On the 19th February we got the drastic most heartbreaking news that our dad was so poorly he needed to be put into a coma, since been in this coma he has deteriorated greatly and not breathing at all on his own no matter how much they try, just as things couldn’t get any worse on the 20th February I got another heartbreaking call to say mam was now at end of life and only 2 people we’re allowed to hold her hand, on the 21st February at 12.45pm our gorgeous mam toke her last breath with me and Stephen holding her hand, this has broken us as a family, as I’m sure everyone who knew mam would agree she is an amazing person, As if we don’t have enough to deal with we get an update on dad and he’s critical as I write this he’s currently still in a coma and obviously isn’t aware his darling wife has passed as much as this pains all of us to do we have had people asking if they can help to take the financial strain away from us a little, as you can imagine funerals are very expensive and we could potentially have 2 to arrange! I thought this was the best option so everything was in one place and people could leave there own little messages! Any help would be greatly appreciated but please do not feel obliged! If there are any funds left over after this horrid nightmare then we as a family will arrange for some sort of memorial resting bench maybe so it’s somewhere we can go when we are feeling low! Much love Joanne and family
