I'm writing this on behalf of my mother, Deborah Ploof.   Deborah was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer that has metastasized to her bones.   She is currently undergoing radiation therapy, but has opted out of receiving chemotherapy.   Due to the cancer that is in her femur, near her hip, she will be unable to travel back home to Vermont.  She is in an extremely fragile state and is not allowed to get out of bed.  The doctor’s say that they believe that she has 4-6 months to live.

We would like to raise money in order to help her family come visit her while she is on hospice in Alexandria, Louisiana as well as any other miscellaneous medical expenses that may arise.  In the near future she will be moved into a Skilled Nursing Facility after she has completed her radiation therapy.  Our family would be greatly thankful for any assistance that anyone could provide.
