Venus and Jesse Winston need your help!
Since February, Venus has been battling a recurrence of a rare and aggressive colon cancer. As of June, She has spent 8 of the past 10 weeks at the Weinberg Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. We are both optimistic but quite exhausted as we manage this ordeal. We need your support to help Venus fight through these challenging times and for our household to overcome the financial burden.
Venus, a self employed artist, was first diagnosed with cancer in 2014 when she developed a rare Krukenberg tumor. At that time she was inspired to create an informative graphic series entitled “Cooking with Cancer,” about her experience dealing with the illness, emotional strength, family, and the relationship between food and cancer.
All support and prayers are appreciated. Please share this so venus can live and continue to share her story.
