Hello all, it’s Penne Collier. I’m the mother of Gemarr Collier. Upon graduation from college with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry he is currently employed teaching in a small rural town in the South. His students are troubled youth and he is trying to offer them another life choice through the world of Science. Gemarr has been nominated as teacher of the month- he won! His students respect him and actually have learned to appreciate what he has to offer. Unfortunately for Gemarr he has run into a “Karen” that wants to disrupt his career by smearing his name on social networks because of an incident that occurred outside of his teaching environment. This “Karen” lives in his neighborhood and is upset that a person that doesn’t look like her is teaching biology had the nerve to smack her grown son when her son called Gemarr the “N” word. We all know in small towns everyone knows everyone and their families and if you are new to the area and an outsider you will have the burden of proof placed at your doorstep. She has caused him to become suspended from teaching until his court situation is resolved, though the school likes Gemarr and is holding his position for his return. With his career coming to a sudden unexpected halt Gemarr still has lawyers to pay and living expenses. Needless to say when all this is resolved he will be leaving the rural town life and head back to a major city. Anything you can contribute will be much appreciated
