Hi friends,
We found out tonight that my dear, sweet pal, George has cancer in his leg. The poor buddy jumped off the couch and his leg was so brittle that it broke and will not heal.
This means that our little tough man needs his whole hind leg amputated. This is not the news we were hoping for.
The vet has assured us that once the leg has been amputated, George will live a happy 3-legged life! Indeed he will be back to his old, goofy and grouchy self, with a lot less pain.
Unfortunately, this procedure comes at no small cost. His hospital bills are going to amount to over $7,000 when it is all said and done.
I am recovering from pneumonia, and a recent injury/hospital stay myself, on top of the world-wide pandemic. So, I’m humbly turning to Al Gore’s World Wide Web... any little bit you can spare will help my little dude.
I can’t emphasize enough my love for George. He has been and will be my very sweetest, most loyal bud. Look at those pictures and please help us keep him around for what will be his happy and long life.
