3/31/20 afternoon Jim Douglas went for a run, as he does every day. He was injured in a car vs pedestrian accident and has suffered devastating injuries. He is hospitalized, and in light of the covid-19 pandemic, his family is unable to be with him physically.
Jim and his family are so loved and so valued by our community. The days, weeks, and months that follow will be difficult to navigate and we hope to take some of the financial burden off the family so that they can focus on Jim, his recovery, and his new life.
Please share your stories if you know him, Nina, Avery, Alec, or Jillian personally. Give some money, give a kind thought, give your support.
- page created with permission from Jim's children. I work with Nina at Western Maine Pediatrics and with Jim professionally. The money donated by all of you will go to help curb costs of his life flight, surgery, icu stay, and home modifications, as well as ongoing medical expenses.
