Spike was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma just after Christmas with the tumor inside of his bladder. He has already had one surgery to remove some of the tumor. He will definitely be having an additional surgery where they will remove his bladder. He has multiple options that will require additional surgery and could come with minor and major complications. It is also likely he will need to got through multiple rounds of chemotherapy. We are extremely hopeful the cancer will not spread, but Squamous Cell spreads extremely fast. Spike has to look at all options and will be having multiple consultations and opinions and move quickly. This will involve a lot of doctor appointments and costs both pre-surgery and post surgery. It will be a major challenge for him to afford all this. But more than the financial implications we started this to show how much people care for him.
