Hey I’m Will. I’m originally from Richmond, VA and just moved to Los Angeles, California.
Previously I attended Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA, however due to a lack of family support I am currently battling homelessness and in need of all the help I can get.
I moved to California to plan to attend school and because my family has been quite disconnected from me for years due to my sexuality/beliefs and opinions.
I don’t know a soul in California and it’s been really hard not having any direct, in-person friend or family support. It’s been even harder for me to make friends/connections during COVID.
Currently I am working so hard to even be able to have a roof over my head. I have a lot to focus and work on as far as rebuilding, as I’m completely starting from scratch. But I need your help.
I want to pursue my dream of designing and creating clothes that speak to people.
I studied fashion design and beauty and fragrance at scad, however only being there for the first semester (before my life took a full 180) didn’t allow me to learn the skills necessary to achieve my goals.
I would do anything to be back in school.
I have tried reaching back out to all the family I can, but they refuse to believe in me or my vision/aspirations. I have nowhere else to turn but here.
