Anitra Ford-Scott Flood Victim 2016
Donation protected
My name is Amanda Tezeno-Jones. I'm starting this campaign for my aunt who didn't have the nerve to start one for herself. She is very humble. Let me share her story with you all. On August 13, 2016, in Lafayette, Louisiana, life changed for Anitra Ford-Scott and her 2 children. They lost their home, and the contents inside of the home in the Historic Louisiana Flooding. For the past 15 years, Anitra, has lived in her home and has never experienced any type of flooding. Also, the home did not require any flood insurance. Due to this fact, Anitra, and her family did NOT have flood insurance . Anitra never imagined this would ever happen to her family. Anitra has several thousands of dollars worth of damage to her home, and is also without furniture, appliances, etc. Anitra is a single mother who works hard serving her community as a Registered Nurse. She has helped many people in their time of need. She and her children have had to relocate and move in with her mother. Now is the time for Anitra's family and friends to show appreciation to her in her time of need. She will get through this with the help of GOD. Let's show her we love her by donating what we can. She plans on spending the money towards fixing her home, and replacing lost items. There is no gift too small. Thank you all in advance. Much love to you.
