Tax deductible

Our target is to raise a further £50,000 to complete the funding for the £812,000 needed to get East Leake Pavilion built and fully equipped.

Work has been going on in the village to find the funding for the project and volunteers working with the East Leake Playing Field Charity and the Parish Council have already managed to secure funding from three main sources to get the project underway - But need your help now for the final push!

We already have:

1. Section 106 contributions

£280,000 is available from Section 106 funding that has been allocated to recreation by developers of the housing in the village.

Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 allows for 'Planning Obligations' (also known as Section 106). These planning obligations are legal obligations entered into to mitigate the impacts of a development proposal. This can be via a planning agreement entered into under section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 by a person with an interest in the land and the local planning authority; or via a unilateral undertaking entered into by a person with an interest in the land without the local planning authority. Click here for more information of planning obligations.

2. Grants from Sporting and other bodies

£376,000 towards the project has been awarded by The Football Foundation specifically for the redevelopment of the old changing rooms building and to develop a football hub in the south of Rushcliffe.

3. East Leake Parish Council

£126,000 will come from a public works loan taken out by the Parish Council at favourable rates to enable both phases of the project to go ahead at the same time.

BUT WE STILL NEED £50,000 TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT!

Here’s how to help…

Donations

Donations received from individuals, groups and businesses. East Leake Traders have already raised a significant sum through collections and their stall at East Leake Carnival. Support for The East Leake Open Gardens has also added to our total.

More Donations are needed! Go to the GoFundMe page https://gofund.me/4fbc6591

If you are a tax payer then the East Leake Playing Fields Charity can increase the value of your donation through Gift Aid – be sure to tick the box if you donate.

Activities

Organise fund-raising activities – with friends and family, work colleagues, or other groups you’re involved with. The Pavilion will be used for much more than just sports activities and will be somewhere for lots of village activities in the future – we need your help!

Buy a Brick

Our 'Buy a Brick' scheme allows sponsors to make a contribution in a very special way. By sponsoring the charity through buying a brick for £40.00 you will be helping to build the future of the Village. Many people have enjoyed playing sport at Costock Road over the years – what better way to show your happy memories of the past and your support for the future generations of East Leake players than a brick with a loved one’s name or your family’s name on it?
