Yolie's Cancer treatment
Donation protected
This is my sister, Yolanda Montellano. She was diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL) Acute Lymphoblastic leukemia in May 2015. She was in remission for a few months, fighting cancer, completing her course of chemotherapy, and prepping for a needed bone marrow transplant, which I as her brother am her sole
donor. Unfortunately, she relapsed in March 2016 and the cancer was back. She endured a long 2 mo struggle being hospitalized, being away from her children added to her stressors. Once again, she fought through and is currently in remission, continuing with her plan to prep for bone marrow transplant. My sister is a fighter. She's undergone numerous bone marrow biopsies, chemotherapy sessions to include spinal infused types, always needs blood & platelet transfusions, and has endured painful conditions due to low blood counts and medication side effects. All I want is to see my sister get back to her life, back to her children, and back to her friends and family that bring her genuine smile back to her beautiful face.
We are asking for any contributions to access her bone marrow transplant. I am reaching out for all moral & financial support, as this is an extremely expensive procedure in which insurance does not cover 100%. She has not been able to work in over a year due to her conditions. But she is very eager to get back into the workforce once cleared, and upon transplant success. My sister is a fighter, and usually appears to look as if she's in good health, but is usually hiding in pain and fatigue. I want to express my deepest gratitude for any donations and am extremely humbled by the love and support of our friends and family. Thank you.

With sincerest gratitude,
Richard Montellano Jr.
