Wayne’s road to recovery

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

We’re reaching out to ask for your help on behalf of two deeply loved members of our community—Wayne and his partner, Rose. Recently, Wayne suffered a heart attack that has taken him out of work and placed his full focus on recovery. On April 26th, Wayne went in for an emergency quadruple bypass surgery to save his life.

While we are incredibly grateful that Wayne is still with us, this unexpected event has brought on serious challenges. With Wayne unable to work, the full weight of everyday expenses—groceries, utilities, rent, and other essentials—now rests on Rose’s shoulders. She is doing everything she can to keep things going, but it’s a lot for one person to carry alone.

Wayne is known by many as the first to offer a helping hand—no matter who you are or whether you’ve met before. He’s the guy who shows up when someone’s in need, without expecting anything in return. Now it’s our turn to show up for him and Rose.

Wayne is a devoted and loving papa to two boys who absolutely adore him. Whether it’s sharing quiet moments, teaching them life lessons, or making them laugh with his big heart and even bigger hugs, Wayne’s presence means the world to his grandkids. His greatest wish right now is simply to get back to being the papa his boys look up to every single day.

We’re raising funds to help them through this difficult time so Wayne can focus on healing without the added stress of financial strain. Every donation, no matter the size, goes directly to helping them with their day-to-day needs and giving them the peace of mind they deserve so Wayne can continue to heal and get back to the life they share.
