Hi everyone, I’m a football coach with Tetbury Town Youth Football Club.
We run teams for children as young as 4, right through to Under 18s, before they progress into the senior club squads.
The club have invested heavily in recent months, to provide portable floodlighting equipment, to give our 200+ children the opportunity to take part in evening football training during the week. The importance of this cannot be under estimated!.
To raise much needed funds, myself and Kev Higgs have challenged ourselves to walk the 102 mile route of the ‘Cotswold Way’, from Chipping Campden down to Bath.
You can keep in touch with our progress in the challenge on the clubs Instagram and Facebook pages, as I will be posting updates along the way.
The monies raised from this challenge will go towards the cost of the floodlighting equipment, which is so crucial to the football provision we can offer, and to the development of the players.
