As most know my sister Cathy found out she has pancreatic cancer last year. She has been through more this year than most in a lifetime. She no longer can work and her husband Derek that usually works out of state has now had to stay locally and that alone has taken a toll on finances. Cathy is on her second cycle of chemo and we hope it’s helping beat this beast of a cancer. My sister was going to Moffitt and did attempt to remove the tumor but had to abort the surgery because the tumor is up against an artery. She was referred to one of the top surgeons in the Country and went to Mayo Clinic in Minnesota back in March. Her scans and testing looked good and she looks to be a candidate for a more extensive whipple surgery.  Cathy will return to Mayo June 13th for more testing and if things look good she will get her life prolonging surgery. During that time she will need to stay in MN for two or three months minimum and will still have to fly back and forth for check ups. Cathy and Derek are financially strapped with medical bills and not making as much money as they once did. They would appreciate and be extremely great full and humble to all who could help in any small way.  Thank you and now lets help Cathy slay this dragons ASS!
