Please help my mother, Margaux Dryland, a compassionate healer, who under the draconian laws of WA has been charged with 3 counts of possession of Cannabis with intent to sell and supply. This charge has completely shattered her world. We are asking for her many friends and supporters, those who know her personally and those who support her case through various Medicinal Cannabis forums, to help with the many costs associated with defending her character at the Supreme Court of WA. A loving mother to triplets, a grandmother, a successful business owner, an upstanding member of the community and someone who at 61 years of age has a completely clean record.
There are over 60 compounds in Cannabis that belong to a class of molecules known as Cannabanoids. THC, the most commmonly known compound, is the molecule that makes Cannabis users "high". It must be heated in order to have this effect. It is extremely important to note, that there a over 50 more compounds that have NATURAL HEALING ABILITY, the effects of which have been documented extensively. Treating ailments such as skin conditions and rashes right up to seizures and even cancers!!!
Having treated her own depression and migraines with natural measures including cannabis, Margaux started making tincture and coconut oil infused with cannabis for her Mother, Shirley who had severe rhumetoid arthritis and osteo arthritis (now sadly deceased.) Shirley found immediate and extreme relief from the symptoms of her arthritis by rubbing the oil into her limbs and even ingesting it. This was a woman in her late 80's!! Cannabis is a NATURAL HEALING PLANT! A PLANT!!!
Having seen the enormous and many benefits of this miracle oil, Margaux started giving the tincture to an elderly neighbour for her glaucoma, with positive results, and to friends for various ailments including lymes disease, epilepsy and skin problems like eczema and psoriasis. Margaux has helped make oil for a friend's parents who have both suffered with brain tumours and she has also helped a friend with breast cancer. These people are devastated that they can no longer use this saving oil for relief of their health problems. Instead, they now must rely on pharmaceuticals, drugs, sold by the real criminals that profit from peoples misfortune and only create life-long customers of the big pharma lies and deceits.

All over the world, and in many parts of Australia, people are waking up to the benefits of Medicinal Cannabis! The laws are changing and people are realising that this plant has been put on our Earth to heal.
Now to the nitty gritty, there a few complexities of the case and some things that are important to know.
1) Margaux never once made profits from the oil. She supplied this to her friends with good intentions and from the kindness of her heart.
2) There are no victims in this case. NO VICTIM = NO CRIME
3) In every state of Australia (except WA), these type of charges would take into account the THC component of the oil. THIS IS IMPORTANT!
Margaux has been charged with having 62.5 grams of paste. In actual fact, this was 1 gram of cannabis, and 61.5 grams of coconut oil!!! THIS WAS NOT TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT!!!
She is also charged with having 532 ml of tincture. Again, this was 1ml of cannabis (equivalent) and 531ml of alcohol. THIS WAS NOT TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT!!
This is unfair and unjust! we need to let WA's judges and politicians know that people are HEALING THEMSELVES with a PLANT MEDICINE!
4) Although mums motivations in this case were misguided, her intentions were only good. Mum is embarrassed and ashamed that her attempt to help people from a pure heart has landed her in this position. She is completely aware and admits to the charges against her but is asking for leniency in the end charge as she never set out to hurt anyone or cause harm. In fact, she did the opposite.
Rather than keep this issue a secret, Margaux has been forthcoming with the trials she is now facing. She has a strong group of family and friends, all whom know of the charges against her, all of whom support her 100%, all of whom think it is disgusting, charging a loving, helping healer to the full extent of WA's drug laws.
