Hi everyone,
My name is Fatmata Diallo and this year I was given an amazing opportunity to attend and represent my school at the National Youth Leadership Forum: Medicine at Rice University in Houston, Texas. At the week long retreat, I will learn about the medical school process, attend lectures , participate in labs and even have the opportunity to earn college credits through George Mason University, all while being surrounded by students hand picked from around the world. I believe this will be a life changing experience and will also give me a head start in my interest in pursuing a career in the medical field.
After currently attending CCCS, and graduating as valedictorian, I now attend West Catholic Preparatory High School where I participate in many activities such as track and field, volleyball, student ambassadors club, student council, culinary club and more. While doing all of these activities, I also maintain great grades with a 90% average, a 4.6 GPA and I am ranked top 25 in my class.
The funds raised will be used for enrollment to the program, transportation to Houston, the opportunity to earn college credits and additional fees. Every donation counts, even if it’s only one dollar. I would like to thank everybody in advance for helping , and I promise to make everyone proud.
