On February 10th Bob Warren, unfortunately, suffered severe 3rd-degree burns over more than half of his body in a tragic house fire. His wife BJ had to pull him out of the house while he was inflamed.
He is currently intubated and being treated in the burn unit at UCSD. His wife, daughter Brianna, and their two dogs are displaced and looking for temporary housing. While deeply worried about her husband and consoling their daughter, BJ is navigating through home and health insurance claims, managing the dogs, and trying to keep her business afloat to pay the bills. They need to find temporary housing locally where Brianna can get to school safely and be able to do distance learning, and also so the dogs don’t have to stay in the car. They are currently in a hotel room.
Bob is in critical condition but he is a fighter and we are all hopeful and continue to pray he will pull through. Thankfully he is one tough man. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him and will need in-home nursing assistance as well as special devices because he will be unable to use his hands for a long time.
Additionally, the restoration and construction will take months before they can move back home and insurance is only offering assistance for a short period. Thankfully the downstairs bedrooms will be salvageable after smoke restoration.
Any assistance is greatly appreciate at this time to help with temporary housing and his road to recovery.
Thank you on behalf of The Family.
All 100% of the funds go to Bob, BJ and Brianna.
