Help Amelia beat cancer & Bone Marrow Transplant
2021 RELAPSE UPDATE:
Sadly enough our precious Amelia has relapsed and the Leukemia is back. We have just received confirmation of relapse. Yet, this time in her CSF (cerebral spinal fluid) and also within the bone marrow... so after 22 months being in treatment and 18 months in remission, again, we’re back inpatient and have began more aggressive chemo treatments. Back at Day # 1.
We will be traveling now to and from Pennsylvania for treatment at CHOP( children’s healthcare of Philadelphia) over the next 14 months!!! We will be moving forward on this new long path God has given to us and to Amelia, which will most likely require her to need radiation therapy and a bone marrow transplant sometime very soon! Please keep her in your prayers tonight and every single night until she is healed and cured!!
Any money raised or donated would exclusively be used to assist her father and I with food, gas, unpaid medical bills, outstanding utilities, and to save for the unknown future expenses which may be necessary on her health treatment and unforeseen medical expenses in the future on Amelia.
PayPal option for donations accepted using the following link: https://paypal.me/HopeForAmelia?locale.x=en_US

Original 2019 Post: Hello! My name is Rachael Gunter and I’m Amelia’s mother.... up until her date of diagnosis on March 29, 2019, she was healthy and overall a normal child never been hospitalized never had any serious illnesses except common childhood colds, etc. My entire life changed on this date when my 7-year old baby girl was diagnosed with Philadelphia positive, chronic Pre-B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Her father, Jorge Brito has been pressuring me to start this go fund me page for our child so here it is—
This would be a blessing if anyone/everyone would like to donate any amount of money which I guarantee will help our family with travel expenses to get to her Hematology and Oncology specialty doctor’s in Pensacola. Our weekly schedule currently consists of Monday through Friday being in Pensacola getting labs, hours and hours of blood transfusions, blood product administration, monitoring her reaction to these, Spinal chemotherapy administration, bone marrow biopsy’s, daily oral chemo treatment in combination with 13 other medications; if we’re lucky most weeks, we get to come home to Panama City Beach (160 miles from the hospital and doctors) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to visit with daddy and sister, Raegan, whose 10 years old.
Any money raised or donated would exclusively be used to assist her father and I with food, gas, unpaid medical bills, outstanding utilities, and to save for the unknown future expenses which may be necessary on her health treatment and unforeseen medical expenses in the future on Amelia.
