Please help Vikki to get vital cancer treatment

Vikki and her team were overwhelmed by the initial response to this fundraising campaign, so many people with generous hearts willing to support her in her quest to get to Mexico to access cutting edge treatment for her stage IV bowel cancer that are not available in Australia at this point in time.

Vikki was doing so well on aggressive chemotherapy that it was assumed that she would continue to do well on maintenance chemotherapy. The plan was to let this
fundraiser rest until we got to a time when it was possible to travel internationally and be guaranteed of making it back to Australia without significant delays.

Unfortunately, maintenance chemotherapy has failed to contain the tumour growth in Vikki's case, and her body cannot take too much more aggressive chemotherapy. It
is time to pull out all the stops and find financial means to get Vikki to Mexico as soon as possible. So far we have raised $20,000, we need another $50,000 to get her
