Mattie's Study-Abroad Fund

Hey All! I'm Mattie and I am studying abroad in Germany this semester. This trip has turned out to be much more expensive then expected. Despite saving for a year and working 2 jobs this winter I still do not have enough funds to complete my time abroad. Part of the reason why, and some of you may know already, is that my family has been in a bad financial situation lately. My mother lost her job and even though she is actively looking for another job my parents can not afford to pay much more money towards my time abroad. I have started this fundraiser because I feel I have exhausted other options. I have worked, saved, and applied for scholarships but it just isn't enough. So I am asking you to help me complete one of my lifelong dreams, out of the goodness of your heart, for nothing in return. I know this is a lot to ask but again I feel like I have no other option. So what will your money be going to? Everything from buying school supplies and necessary household items to funding a weekend trip somewhere in Europe (like Berlin, Prague, or the Vatican)! I will need to reach my goal in about two months. I have enough money to get by right now. My time in Germany means the world to me. It has already been one of the greatest experiences I have ever had. But I want to be able to do more then just go to class and eating only eggs and bread. Even if you only donate $5 or $10 every little bit helps!!

Mattie
