Since August 27, 2020 I had been hemorrhaging the bleeding stoped completely February 2, 2021. Non stop bleeding for a little over 6 months. I am Anemic now with dizzy spells and black outs and loss of feeling in my hands and feet sometimes. Due to the blood loss I ended up in the hospital multiple times with 2 surgeries and I have another coming up. I have also found out my body is unable to create the blood cells needed to replace the blood I loss due to no iron in my body I received two blood transfusions and one iron transfusion but my body is out again. I was forced to wait even due to the critical situation due to covid. But now that I am able to see the doctor I have another issue paying for treatment. Even with insurance I had to get a referral to even be seen by the hematologist and it’s still going to cost an arm and a leg each visit to the specialist is $90 as well as the medical bills from the hospital stay and ER and surgeries and my income was only covering rent and car note. I have over 26 visits to the hematologist to get treatment on top of everything else. My mom & sister have exhausted all funds to help me and that’s why I’m reaching out. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
