Pt Lonsdale School Footy Jumpers
Donation protected
For the first time in the Point Lonsdale Primary School’s history, its football team has qualified through to the third round of the Victorian Primary School’s Football Championships.
It has done so without losing a match in the opening two rounds – a remarkable achievement considering the size of the school (PLPS has a total of 26 grade six students) and the size of the schools it has competed against.
It has also done so wearing footy jumpers which are best described as ‘vintage’. The current ill-fitting jumpers fail to identify Point Lonsdale Primary School, and simply aren’t representative of the standard of footy this talented group of players is delivering.
For this reason we are hoping to raise enough funds to purchase a new school set of football jumpers for the team to wear proudly as it continues its 2016 campaign. They will also be used for years to come by the school’s future football teams.
Thank you for helping this team to represent Point Lonsdale Primary School in a uniform which supports its achievements. Your donation is greatly appreciated.
We have done so well with donations so thank you to everyone who has donated. We are extending our campain to raise money for the boys to have matching shorts. Thanks again for all the support.
