Help Danielle publish her book!

Hello Everyone! As some of you may know, I have wanted to write a book for a very long time. I think that I have been dreaming about it and simultaneously making excuses about why I couldn’t do it for over 10 years now!! I took the onset of the pandemic, and the changes that it brought to my daily routine, as an opportunity to make it happen. If being in a lockdown wasn’t a sign, then what was? I used my blog as the foundation and was able to finally complete my first version of the manuscript! It is currently called, “Healing Tree: An adoptee’s story about hurting, healing and letting the light shine through.” It is considered to be a teaching memoir, documenting in vignettes about my experience as an adoptee, reunifying with my birth mother, my psychological struggle, discovering my path to healing and sharing about that path. Now, the project of editing begins..... That’s where I need your help! I have decided to self-publish and am discovering that it is quite an expensive process, one that is far beyond my budget. However, I want to do it well. I am hoping to work with KN Literary initially, and perhaps even continue on with them for the publishing part. I have not decided on that next leg yet. I need to raise money to begin the editing process. Any money that you can contribute is deeply appreciated. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for helping me make to my dream come true.
