Holmes Fire Relief

It is not a practice of mine to solicit anything via social media or by any other means; however, life’s circumstances well beyond my control have caused me to broaden my way of thinking. 

My dad, step mom, and two younger brothers’ home was severely damaged in a recent fire, and the home is inhabitable.  My step mom suffered 3rd to 4th degree burns and succumbed to those injuries on Easter Sunday, March 27th. Prior to this, my dad and step mom were disabled and bed- ridden as result of previous strokes and other medical issues.   One of my brothers sustained minor burns to his hand trying to get her out of the house. Fortunately, my dad was at the hospital at the time of the fire for other medical reasons, and the medical professionals have now recommended hospice care for him. 

Their medical expenses and other expenses continue to mount. Because of the around the clock care that my dad and step mom needed, my two brothers have been unable to work so that they could provide that care for them.  My brothers are currently living in a hotel.
