Rick Starbird fights brain cancer

Rick Starbird is the father to my wonderful friend since middle school and neighbor, Faith Starbird-Patton.
In middle school I spent more time at the Starbird's than I did my own house and Rick was one of the hardest working fathers I know.
He is no longer able to work because in October he had brain surgery to remove what they they was malformation of blood vessels. After surgery he had to stay in a rehab facility and learn to walk, talk, and use his entire right side of his body again. He has not fully recovered from thar surgery. The doctors sent a biopsy of what they removed during surgery and thats when he found out what was removed was part of a tumour he was diagnosed with glioblastoma stage 4 primary brain cancer.
He started radiation and chemo at the end of Decemeber and is still on chemo now. Hes very weak now, chemo takes a lot out of a person but he remains strong for his 5 children and all of his grand babies.
The severity of his condition has led to Rick trying to sell the Shop (by Walmart) and his home. The home is needing a lot of work and hopefully with the work it will be able to sell for what its worth.
Rick has not been able to work and has minimal to no income coming in. I am hoping that I can help the Starbird family by doing this GoFundMe page. The money will be used to fix the house to sell and also for medical expenses he is unable to pay for due to the cost of all his medications and chemo.
I want The Starbird family to be able to enjoy the moments with their dad and grandpa and not stress over the financial situation. Right now is a crucial time and we want him to get better.
