Chris passed away suddenly on June 15th.
When Chris was in the room, everyone knew it. He had a smile that could light up the sky and an unforgettable contagious laugh. Chris was born and raised in Norristown, PA and proud of it. If you needed something fixed, Chris was your guy. He loved to be active and work with his hands. He was a diehard Philly sports fan, if it was Eagles game day, you know Chris was wearing Green. He liked to read true crime novels in his down time, loved all kinds of music; and if Pearl Jam was in town, Chris was there.
Family meant everything to Chris and he was loved by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and most especially by his mother Maryann, sister Gina, brother Joe and stepfather Bill. But above and beyond all things Chris loved, he loved and worshipped his two beautiful daughters, Renèe and Ava, that he shared with his long time partner Dana. Renèe(19) and Ava(5) idolized their father. If you saw Chris, Ava was usually right beside him smiling with love in her eyes. Chris was also a grandfather and even at 1, the love Isabella had for her Poppop was undeniable. He loved a good home cooked meal, especially when Renèe made it.
This beautiful, loving, caring family is suffering a huge loss with Chris’s passing and need our support. All donations will primarily support Renee and Ava with their education, in addition to assisting with funeral expenses.
The Gambones and DeFrancos truly appreciate all your love and support during this very difficult time.
