Thank you for your ongoing support, care and prayers for Katie, Phil and family through this time. They certainly feel upheld and supported by everyone already. Many people have inquired about additional ways to help, which is why we have started a GoFundMe campaign to help with some extra expenses related to Katie's cancer journey.

 

We do not know the course or duration of treatment, nor do we know the costs that will be associated with it.  Anticipated costs include prescription medications, integrative cancer care with a naturopath, supplements, as well as any costs associated with chemo and treatment. We do not know the length of this journey or needs that may arise as cancer and treatment progress, but  Katie and Phil plan to pursue anything that may bolster Katie's health and support treatment. As a self-employed farming family and with Katie on an extended maternity leave, Katie and Phil do not have a benefits plan, which means that all expenses will be paid out of pocket.
