Hi dear friends,
Since fall of 2019, I’ve lost over 130lbs. This amount of weight loss has resulted in a significant amount of excess skin on my abdomen, and I’ve found that my insurance won’t cover the removal. The surgery itself is $12,000 and while I was prepared to pay for some of it, I was not prepared to pay for all of it.
I can’t begin to describe to you what this surgery means to me. This is the last piece remaining of my old life. A really, really unhealthy unstable life. This surgery is the last step in a life radically changed. This surgery is the beginning of my life as my best, most authentic self.
