Karen's Heart Transplant Fund

Hi!   My name is Karen Acheson and I am a 65 year young woman.  I just retired from the University of Texas at Austin working as an Administrative Assistant in the Custodial Services Department.  I had to take an early retirement due to health issues that have continued to worsen.  I was not able to retire with full disability benefits as I had to take an early retirement.  We are setting up the GoFundMe account to raise money for a heart transplant. There will be lots of expenses that will not be covered by insurance or partially covered such as skilled nursing for 6-8 weeks at $150.00 an hour, other caregivers, living away from home for 2 months, travel expenses, dental expenses, and other miscellaneous expenses.  I would be so grateful for your support for a second chance at life.  I will need funds starting June 28, 2016.  Thank you for your generous donation!!
