Our dear friend, James Zeh, passed away late Saturday night after suffering COVID and kidney complications. 

James was a friend to all. He had an infectious smile and a love for life. His can-do attitude kept him and those around him in high spirits. You can help to support the ones he loved most, his wife and 12-year-old daughter Neomi. James worked in a leadership position as an Environmental Technician at Howard Community College in Maryland. This would have allowed Neomi to attend HCC in 6 years and get a free college education. But with his passing, this is left in doubt and any assistance is helpful. The family is left with mounting funeral costs and an uncertain future.

 

Funds will be used for immediate funeral costs and any additional amounts raised will go towards Neomi’s college fund. 

 

More about the Zeh family: James was born March 15, 1959 in Liberia and considered it an incredible blessing when he and his wife were granted diversity visas in 2003 to come to the United States with faith and hope for a new future. They’ve both worked hard all these years to provide for loved ones here in America and support their children home in Liberia. Later they acquired US citizenship and Neomi was born shortly after making this their new home. James was always supremely proud of the accomplishment to become an American citizen and loved his new country.
