Julian Clayton “Clay” Brannon, a resident of Peachtree City, Georgia and formerly of Headland, Alabama, died early Tuesday morning, August 23, 2016, in the Piedmont Fayette Hospital, Fayetteville, Georgia.
Clay Brannon was born on April 17, 1970.

He attended school in the Peachtree City/Fayette County School Systems and moved to Headland, AL where he was a 1988 graduate of Headland High School.

An avid Auburn fan, Clay went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Auburn University and was a member of the Upsilon Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He enjoyed spending every minute possible with his four children and keeping up with friends and family. Clay was also a member of the Auburn United Methodist Church, Auburn, AL.

His untimely death at the age of 46 years old has left a hole in the hearts of all of those who knew and loved him. He is described by friends and family as “a big man with a big heart and the protector of the those in need”. His fraternity brothers at Upsilon Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha – Auburn, AL describe him as “someone who always had your back and one who was always there in a time of crisis”.

His four children who are all under the age of thirteen years old are now without their beloved daddy. Sam – 13, Tom – 11, Carson – 8, and Cora - 6 are now without Clay to be there for their future. He can no longer be there for them in a crisis or to have their back.

It is now our responsibility as Christians, Auburn Alumni and Pikes to help them and to “have their back” Please open your hearts and generously donate to this endeavor which has been establish to create a college fund for each of them.
