Abbey Kidney Assistance Fundraiser

Hello all i am creating this fundraiser in hopes that we can help abbey out with covering her medical bills, transplant and medication she needs. 2020 was tough, we found out abbey was pregnant, when we went to do an ultrasound the doctors noticed something unusual within the process. During the ultra sound the doctors discovered cysts on abbeys kidneys and was diagnosed with Polycysitic Kidney disease. She was still working at the time and the disease started getting worse. Abbey was placed on dialysis 6 times a week for 3.5 hours a day while pregnant. once baby antonio was born they ran tests and discovered he also has kidney disease. Since giving birth the disease has taken a toll on Abbeys body. She is doing dialysis 3 times a week and is currently not working. Since giving birth her dialysis catheter has gotten infected four times and the antibiotics that were given to fight the infection she was allergic to and cause her to swell up like a balloon and had a fever so bad that she was tan and peeling with fever sores everywhere. she spent her birthday in the hospital, thanksgiving in the hospital and was in the hospital until christmas eve. Currently as of feb 6th abbey is in the hospital with the 4th infection in her catheter, a stomach infection and pneumonia. shes a warrior and had been through so much she missed a few days of dialysis because the doctors needed to take out the infected catheter. Her kidney function is now at 15% and we are actively looking for a match for her transplant. Donating would mean so much to us and the funds will be used to cover the expenses for dialysis, kidney transplant, and any medication needed. I pray that she gets better and doesnt need to worry about the stresses of needing to pay off medical bills. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
