Help Hayes Beat Leukemia

Danny and Mel received the tragic news this week that their 18-month-old, Hayes, as been diagnosed with juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML). JMML is a very rare form of childhood cancer, only about 50-75 children are diagnosed with it every year in the United States. It is a 1 in a million cancer and is usually only found in children 4 years and younger. The only way to a cure is through a bone marrow transplant. Hayes has courageously started his battle with cancer and is scheduled to start his first round of chemotherapy in the next couple of weeks.
It is a twisted irony that Danny and Mel, who are always the first people to jump in to help others, will now require the help of many of those they have helped, and many who they would surely help if they found themselves in a similar situation. The family isn't asking for anything, it's not in them, but let's come together and do for them what they would most definitely do for us.
The family has good insurance but there will surely be expenses outside of their control. Danny and Mel shouldn't have to worry about anything other than helping their little boy, Hayes, make a full recovery.
Please keep Danny, Mel, Jordy, Jack, Burks, and Hayes in your prayers and thank you for any support you can give this amazing family.
Cancer sucks. Hayes is a fighter. Let's fight with him.
