We would like to thank everyone for your kind words and prayers. Our dad fought a good fight . He lost his battle to covid at the age of 79. He is now with our Lord. He gained his wings to become an Angel watching over us now. Our dad is a Marine and proud to have served his country. He was the greatest Child of God, Husband to mom for 52 years, Father to Glen, Abel Jr., Randy, and Myra., Father-in-law to Mary, Alan, Grandfather to Jordan, Zachary, Evan, Randi, and Zoe, Brother, Uncle, Friend. He loved volunteering for over 30 years in the Veterans Center. He had classes on Wednesday nights for military and families with PTSD. He helped whoever he could or guided them in the right direction. He He was always kind and spoke with a soft voice. We loved to hear his stories when he was growing up and Vietnam stories. We love you daddy and miss you so much. I know he is resting and celebrating with his family in Heaven. Probably playing a few rounds of golf, too. He had his breakfast buddies that would meet at Jaliscos restaurant.. His Friday night poker playing buddies. I will update with funeral arrangements once I have confirmation and he will be buried at Veterans Memorial. We want the best for dad but also what we can afford. It was mentioned to me to put up a gofund me page for funeral expenses. Thank you to everyone and we love y'all. Please prayers for my family.
Thank you to everyone for the donations, the funeral expenses are 6500.00. This is my first time using gofund me and we are grateful for the donations. Family member asked me to raise the amount that in hopes we can can reach the total amount of expenses. Any amount is appreciated. Thank you again.
