- Hey everyone! I recently had a gofundme for my mom and dad and I would like to thank everyone for the donations they received, thanks to them my mom was finally diagnosed and is on the road to recovery! And my dad was able to get an x-ray on his spine and can go further with his journey as well! So thank yall so much! I am now hoping that their journey won't have to be too difficult and I'm trying to help with that by getting their medical bills taken care of or at least getting them well underway. I recently took her to the UMC Emergency Room and from there she spent 3 nights there while the doctors did everything they could to figure out what was going on with her. And they FINALLY found it!!! Praise the Lord! So after all the tests and procedures and different diets they had her do it comes down to she can't eat red meat, it cause a main artery In her intestine to shut and that's what's been making her lose all her body fat and weakened her so badly. She has now gained 2 lbs in 2 weeks. Not much to be excited about you're probly thinking..but any gain is a good gain to me and my family! She's happy to be starting to feel better but she's worried & stressed about not knowing how to pay all the doctor bills that have piled up over last 2 years. It rounds to about $20,000. She also needs a portable oxygen machine/tank she can easily carry with her so that she isn't just confined in their tiny trailer and can get some fresh air. I'm sure y'all know medical equipment can be a bit pricy. My dad needs spinal surgery and eye surgery and he can't go further with his journey until they're able to pay the amount of the surgery's up-front. And with that being said he's at a stand still. He can't work to pay for it since you need your eyes to see and your spine/back is kinda a big deal. I know it sounds like alot but we want everyone to know that it's not the amount you donate, it's much more than that, it's the time you took to read this and hear their story, and its any prayer sent to the Big Man Upstairs for them. God bless y'all and thank y'all❤️
