Alex Taylor's funeral and services
Donation protected
You may or may not have known Alex.
He was one of my best friends for the better part of two decades, and if you had the opportunity to meet him, he would've been one of your best friends, too.
Alex had a tough go of it - as a Type I diabetic, he always had an uphill battle, but if he was anything, he was a fighter. He didn't accept what life gave him and he made it his own. Despite whatever struggles he may have had, Alex always maintained his sense of humor, his integrity, and above all, his loyalty to friends and family. Even if he was hurting deep inside, he found it in himself to make everyone around him smile. Even on his worst days, he would try to lift up those around him.
Alex's life came to an unfortunate end on Tuesday, June 14th, 2016, when he was struck by a vehicle while walking. Alex's family, friends, and acquiantances are grieving a wonderful man - a great friend, a caring brother, a loving son, and a kind soul. His light burned too bright for this world.
Please consider donating to helping Alex's family give him the funeral and services he deserves. The Grimaldos are, as most of us, in absolute shock and disbelief over Alex's loss.
Every dime donated will be utilized for the services, and anything left over will be given to the American Diabetes Association so they can further their research.
Thank you.
