Our beautiful, vivacious, intelligent, roller-skating Emily needs all the light and love you can send her way! 
Emily is battling Stage 4 Gastric Adenocarcinoma.  This type of cancer is prevalent on her dad's side of the family and the fight against it is in full-swing.   Emily has been plagued with symptoms for months, unfortunately, but wasn't officially diagnosed until last week.  The Stage 4 diagnosis is daunting, but treatment options are available to tackle this beast and give her the best chance at living a full life.   It may be a little bit of a different life than what she and all of us had imagined, but we are here for it nonetheless.  I have the utmost faith that Emily will have THE BEST support system around her and we will do whatever it takes to help her, Rachel, John, and Hailey along in this unexpected journey.
