Update: It's 3 months later and I (Andrea) feel extremely blessed by all the love and support I have received through this whole process. I came home a week after surgery and started my healing process. The month of July is kinda a blur with people sending me well wishes and stopping by, then add on top of that not sleeping well and kinda feeling sleeped deprived July came and went and not much changed with me.

August: This got better towards the middle of the month, I got out and went school shopping with my kids by their selfs so they could get mommy time. Football started for Broc and is his last year in city league. This was a new school for both kids with Colsey moving up to highschool and Broc up to middle school. Then we had the fair where both kids had pigs to show, this is always a busy week, plus I had my Big Cheese Fundraiser where I spent about 6 hours on the corner waving a sign and screaming. It was a blast. I also started physical therapy this month and learned exercise to do at home to strengthen my leg. Over all this month was a great month and I started to get out of my blur.

September: I got the neck brace off!! This was a huge thing for me. I am beginning to feel normal and I am going to therapy 2 times a week now. I just got the ok to start putting weight on my leg, so we can start the walking process! I'm getting out of my house several times a week now to do stuff and I can do a few hours of work at a time.

Overall I have been pretty positive through this whole process. I am thankful to be alive and feel pretty lucky after I have been home now and have heard stories and got the police report. This could have gone so different but it didn't and it showed me how many people I have touched by just being my weird self. I have a love for life and the people in it, I love making new friends and having fun and now I understand what that does for people and I'm so glad I didn't change because of this, If anything I will be more loud and obnoxious :)

The boys that hit me did not have insurence and have now left me with over $100,000 in medical bills. The life fight bill alone was the price of a very nice car and I didn't even get offered a drink or peanuts for my flight. I do have some insurence but it wont even cover half of my bills and these boys have nothing for me to go after. Of course I will get some in victim compensation but I have bills coming in now that need to be paid plus I'm not working. Both boys have trial dates but they both keep being moved back so I have no idea when they will happen. I feel like I just want this to all be over and move on but I can't, I don't want to have to learn how to walk again but I have to. I know this is only a small chapter in my life and I will look back on this and be like wow I have come so far but some days it fills like I also have so far to go.

Thank you again Walla Walla and others that have helped out, I am truly blessed with my life and the people in it. I love this town and feel overwhelmed with the support that is behind me. I promise not to let you guys down.

Andrea and her son Broc were in a terrible car accident. She has long road of recovery ahead of her and we would love to be able to ease some of the family's financial stress. Whether they need it for medical bills, pizza when they are too exhausted to cook or just to even out the loss of income while she recovers. She is a phenomenal person who spreads joy wherever she goes and if you can help in anyway it would be greatly appreciated. Every little bit helps.
