Help The Yadon Family

Donation protected
In the words of Charles Dickens, “No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another.” Let us then lighten the burden of the Yadon family, who have been heavily hit by the pandemic. Both Donald and Laura were hospitalized due to Covid, in critical conditions. Beginning on September 7, 2020 Donald spent an entire month at the hospital with complications of pneumonia, blood clots, septic shock, and kidney failure. He was subsequently transferred to a rehabilitation center, where he would undergo dialysis. Unfortunately, he contracted an infection through the dialysis port and fractured his shoulder while in the center. He was transferred to the hospital due to Covid on December 21,2020, where he remained until January 11, 2021, following which he was returned to the rehabilitation center. Donald remains at the center, where he receives further treatment for Covid and undergoes physical therapy given his inability to walk on his own.

Laura appeared to be doing fairly well despite a diagnosis of Covid in December; however, her condition deteriorated rapidly from thereon, requiring hospitalization. She was put on a ventilator as of January 1, 2021 given her inability to breath on her own. Laura, too, was diagnosed with kidney failure and underwent dialysis. The matters were further complicated by the fact that she is anemic, which also necessitated blood transfusions.  Unfortunately, Laura’s condition has shown little to no improvement, as she remains on the ventilator to date. Given the lengthy hospitalization, Laura also had to undergo tracheostomy on January 28, 2021 and on January 29, 2021 a feeling tube was put in, to allow her body to receive the necessary nutrition, though artificially.

Donald and Laura have two children, Ryan and Kiley, who are 21 and 14 years old, respectively. While they have received support from family members, the children remain quite distraught given the many unknowns when it comes to the health of their parents, and their own futures. Given these dire circumstances, the Yadon family is not only suffering physically and mentally, but also financially. To that end, your assistance in this difficult time, no matter how large or small, would be so very welcome and appreciated. Given that we are unable to help the Yadons with achieving a quick physically recovery, let us help them with what we can financially. The funds raised will be used to help the children while their parents recover, and to alleviate some of the financial burdens associated with Donald’s and Laura’s medical care.

We appreciate the time you have taken to learn of the unfortunate situation in which the Yadon family has found itself, and your generosity, which will certainly not be forgotten. Thank you❤️
