Help Michell-Lee Study Abroad to Italy

Hi Everyone, my name is Michell-Lee Graham and I am sophomore at Depauw University. Before attending, I was awarded a Full Tuition Scholarship from the Posse Foundation to attend DePauw, and I was also admitted into the Honor Scholar Program. This past semester I was granted the opportunity to study abroad in Italy this summer. When I received the news I was so excited, however, once I learned of the cost of the trip I realized that this dream of mine might not become a reality as I currently do not have $10,000. And so, I decided to get a job and for the past few weeks during my winter break, I have been working 12 hour shifts at a hospital as a Covid Tester. However, because I am only here for winter break I won’t be able to work enough shifts to pay for the entire cost. And so I decided to make this go fund me as this opportunity would be one of a life time. Not only would I be learning Italian, but I also would be fully immersed in the culture and would be able to interact with fluent speakers. I would also get the opportunity to explore the city of Rome and see some of the amazing art and architecture in Italy. This past year has been a challenging one, not only for me but for everyone and honestly I have never wanted an opportunity this bad. Not only would this trip help me to further my studies as student abroad, but it would also help develop my career as a diplomat and a lawyer. I know that what I’m asking for is a lot, but it’s worth it, and I promise to make everyone that has contributed proud of what I accomplish there. Anything and everything counts, I’ll appreciate anything that you guys contribute. Again I thank you all for your generous donations and for helping to promote my fundraiser !
