Help save our home

On July 11th Flood waters from the Cockermouth river flooded my parents home for the forth time over the last 10 years.  My parents Claudia and Lee McClain residents at 397 Sculptured rocks road have been tasked with mold and silt removal from the inside of there home yet again.  Along with the damage to their house, they've lost their supply of firewood my father had just worked to cut split and stack for the long winter ahead.  My mother a cancer survivor, and my father a hard laborer his whole life are now feeling defeated having to do this all on their own yet again.  On top of loosing material possession, and damage to their home, they struggle most now with having uninhabitable living conditions with already compromised immune systems.  The plan ahead is to try to raise funds for mold eradication, and to raise the home and put it on stilts, or move it to a different position on the property.   With the humidity of the summer it posses so many health risk for the two, as well as financial worry and burden that they just are not equipped to deal with on there own anymore.  Mother nature has not been kind to our family home  of the passed 50+ years and it's last thing we are able to hold onto.  I believe with the help of the community at large you can make this families lives as well as the lives of others who were are feeling this loss in the tiny valley a lot easier.  Help bring faith and restoration to those in need, any donation is sincerely appreciated, God Bless<3
