Thank You All So Much for Your continued PRAYERS and Support. It really means the world to us.
My name is Bob Falter. I just turned 65 years old and was diagnosed with Non - Hodgkins Lymphoma in September of 2015.
Tammy and I have been married for 19 wonderful years and have three outstanding teenagers, Cole - 17, Molly -15 and Lauren 12 years old. All are very active in our church and in sports. We live in a small rural town in VA and are trying desperately to stay ahead in this economy.
After my diagnosis in September, We began the search for the best plan of treatment for my type of cancer. My oncologist in Winchester wanted to start Chemo - immediately at Christmas. We listended and studied and decided to seek alternative treatment first. I visited a Doctor in Charlottesville for several months and then went to Mexico for 3 weeks of treatment in a hospital there. This helped slow the cancer down but did not cure it. Of course any type of alternative treatment ,Is NOT covered by insurances. Your help with this is so greatly Appreciated.
Any funds raised during this campaign will be used for additional treatment and therapy that is not covered by my insurance. After 22 years in the Navy, you would think that your insurance could help you with cancer and it does to a limited degree. Most alternative tests and treatments and alot of the conventional treatments coming up in the next 6 months are not covered by my insurance and are extremely expensive.
I must move to the next step of treatment immediately as the swelling and lymphodema from the size of the tumors has made life very uncomfortable
Im prepared for a long fight and the marathon course talked about in Hebrews 12. Our family would greatly appreciate any and all help you can give. Even more we desperately are asking for your prayers as we travel the rest of the road with this unwanted visitor cancer.
Thank you so much - ahead of time for your assistance.
It means the world to us as we fight the fight of cancer.
