Dear Family, friends, and community we have come together with  great pain in our hearts to raise funds so we can lay our father to rest. July 2nd, 2020 we began a journey in a heartwrenching and devastating battle. My father had become ill with Covid and that was just the beginning. He had one of the severe cases. He was intubated his kidneys and body began to shut down but in the end it seemed that my dad beat covid but he would need extensive medical care and rehabilitation to be able to be discharged. On Sept 11 he was discharged to a rehabilitation and that felt like a new beginning. Since then our father had a series of setbacks but every single time he would fight through them all. He had come a long way. Every single video chat there he was. In the best spirit with the most amazing smile. Grandkids and children had birthdays along the way and there he was putting up his wonderful humor and singing happy birthday. On January 23, 2021 something was terribly wrong he had already been admitted to Banner University. Nurses and doctors could not figure out what was happening. Our light turned dim and went out January 29 2021. He put up a fight with a spirit of gold like a champion but his body succumbed to a terrible infection. He touched so many lives including nurses, doctors  and other medical staff. He leaves a legacy of love, freedom, compassion, dreams, adventure and heroic fight. He represented all of it. He was the center and pillar of his family and will leave a void so empty. We ask if you can  help with anything even prayers are welcome. Thank you for your support.
